Space Base
The Top Space Gear base is in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Christchurch is a small city of about 350,000 people. It's an amazing place to be based - pick your direction and within just a few miles you reach hills, mountains, lakes, rivers and the ocean.
Christchurch has a history of exploration. Adventurers to the South Pole, such as Scott and Shackleton started their legendary expeditions from the port of Lyttleton, just a few miles away. Nowadays, most Kiwis start their own exploration of the big wide world with the almost obligatory OE (overseas experience).
We may be in a small town, but the crew here are anything but small-minded. We're dreaming big. We're dreaming about space. We're aiming to create the best Web space for like-minded people - we hope you enjoy our journey.
